Under Fives Provision
‘A caring, creative environment that recognises, supports and celebrates individual children and their needs.‘
St Pancras Nursery
Our fun packed, exciting new nursery is open and we are recruiting pre – school children. We are open fifteen hours a week (Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays, term time only, 9.30 – 2.30). There is a possibility of your child being eligible for free places. Visit www.camden.gov.uk to check your eligibility or contact us to express your interest in a place for your child.
If you are not eligible for a free place, we expect fees to be around £50 for blocks of five hours, top quality childcare….just right for that once a week at college or maybe your special pamper day.
Nursery application forms can be picked up from the main reception at the centre.
Under Fives’ Drop-in (Stay and Play)
This is a play service for families with 0 – 5 year old children who are accompanied by their parents or other carers. The scheme is funded by Camden but run by us, St Pancras Community Association (SPCA). We build a fun and safe environment where children can play to their content while parents and carers stay with them and get together. We have several childminders among our regulars so if you are looking for one or you are one, this is the place to be.
Children are encouraged to develop their individuality and growing independence. They learn valuable social and learning skills that help prepare them for School.
Parents and carers have the opportunity to talk to others and make friends if they wish. They can also seek professional help and information from trained staff who are always available to talk if needed. Just ask!
Volunteers and Student Placements
We welcome offers of help from volunteers and student placements. It is a excellent way to build experience, if you are looking for a career with children or in the caring professions with lots of options being opened up in these sectors, and as no two days are the same in a nursery it’s great fun too!
