Community Services Update
We’ve modified many of our services to keep them safe and legal in the light of the changing Covid situation and to address emerging needs in the local community. There’s often little or no fee for local people but it’s best to contact us before trying to join, as there may be a waiting list or an appointment needed. Call 020 7380 1501 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for general information.
Health and Wellbeing
Our Health and Wellbeing programme is offering children’s exercise, including Tae Kwando, FenceFitt and Steppaz Dance training. Adult exercise sessions are available online and we are looking at new ways to make adult exercise sessions available at the community centre as well. Contact Cheryl at email@example.com for the latest information. Meanwhile, free bicycle training is available for both adults and children, as family groups on Thursdays after school.
These are up and running again, including our community Nursery for 2 and 3 year old’s and our free Stay and Play service for pre-school children with their parents or grandparents. English and Maths classes are being run by JEMS in the community centre on Saturdays and will suit young people preparing for exams. There is a fee.
If you’re aged 60+ why not come along to our activities to learn something new, improve your health and wellbeing, make new friends and have fun. Activities range from walks, yoga, meditation, relaxation sessions, Zumba, Nosh and Natter, Relax with Art, Art History, ‘Crafternoon’, Zoom sessions, weekend socials, film club, day trips, annual holiday to ‘2 little ducks’ – Bingo! If you’re not confident with smart phones and IT we can help . We can also arrange for regular check ins by phone to see how you are.
If you are interested in running an activity yourself, helping out with an activity or other volunteering, contact Jane on 020 7380 1501 or firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more. If there is an activity you would like to do but we don’t currently run, she will try and make it happen.
We have rooms for hire by the hour for meetings and training sessions that support the community. Give us a call to discuss what’s available and how we can make things affordable and Covid secure.

Our outdoor space is almost fully booked but it already offers netball opportunities for young people and adults, Tuesday evening football for men and a new programme of weekend tennis coaching for children and youths. These services aren’t free but they help us to fund the other services described above. We can put you in touch with the organisers if you’d like to get involved, get fit and stay motivated.
We offer services and activities for people of all ages in our local area. Our aim is to enable residents to work, play and learn together for mutual benefit and well-being.
